About

The Bushin Kan Dojo of Lexington, Kentucky was founded in 2016 and brings more than 30 years of martial arts experience to Central Kentucky. 

 

The Bushin Kan Dojo of Lexington, Kentucky strives to maintain the legacy and tradition cherished for centuries by the Samurai warrior class. The basic principles are centered on forging human will, character and spirit through the study of classical Japanese budo (martial arts) in a non-competitive environment.

 

Instructor

Shihan Keith Rossmiller has studied Japanese classical Karatedo, Kobudo, and Iaido for over 30 years. He is internationally certified as a Rokudan (6th Degree Black belt), Kyoshi (Outstanding Warrior Teacher) and Shihan (Master Instructor) in Karatedo. He also holds the certification of Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt) in Okinawa Kobudo and Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt) in Iaido.

The Bushin Kan Dojo of Lexington, Kentucky is honored to be accredited and endorsed by the Dai Nippon Butoku Kai (DNBK, circa 1895), Japan’s premier martial virtue society of Kyoto, Japan.
